SC Farm Report on Thursday  
  	
   Cattle at SC Auctions on Thursday:  Compared to last week, there were 
too few comparable sales to establish trends.  Feeder Steers: Medium and 
Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 125.00-139.00; 500-600 lbs 125.00. Feeder Bulls: 
Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 120.00-131.00; 500-600 lbs 115.00.  
Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 110.00-120.00; 500-600 
lbs 111.00. Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 50.00-64.00; Boners 80-
85% lean 45.00-64.00; Lean 85-90% lean 44.00-57.00; Lean Low Dressing 
30.00-41.00.  Slaughter bulls: Average Dressing 1325-2035 lbs 76.00-
93.00; Low Dressing 1310-1515 lbs 55.00-85.00; High Dressing none 
reported.
   Cow/Calf Pairs:  Small 1-2 810 lbs Young Age cow with calf under 300 
lbs 935.00 per pair.  
   Hogs on Wednesday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-300 lbs live price was not reported 
due to confidentiality.  Sows live price 300-450 lbs 28.14; 450-500 lbs 
33.11; 500-550 lbs 36.98.
   SC Grain on Thursday.  Corn was 2 to 3 cents higher; elevator bids 
4.41-4.86, processor bids 4.66-4.96.  Soybeans were mostly 1 to 2 cents 
higher; elevator bids 10.43-10.73, processor bid 10.88 and export no bid. 
Wheat bids were too few to compare; elevator bids 5.82-6.23. 
   Cotton on Thursday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 1.15 
higher at 69.19.
